    <summary type="html">I have a similar problem..&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#039;m new with CUAE so please could someone provide me with some assistance.&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#039;m&lt;br /&gt;trying to run the MakeCall example but when I write&lt;br /&gt;http://&amp;lt;appServerIP&amp;gt;:8000/makecall_tut?to=5000 in my browser, I&lt;br /&gt;get a &amp;#034;Internet Explorer cannot display the page..&amp;#034; error. &lt;br /&gt;It&lt;br /&gt;seems that the host is not even listening on port 8000. Where is this&lt;br /&gt;configured? From the Cisco Administration Guide, 8000 should be the&lt;br /&gt;configured port for the Application Server receiving http requests, but&lt;br /&gt;where do you define this because it seems that this port has not even&lt;br /&gt;been defined.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Thank you in advance</summary>

    <summary type="html">The Administration Guide describes the backup and restore process.&lt;br /&gt;Here is a direct link to the particular section&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href='http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuae/2_5/english/administration/guide/backup.html'&gt;http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuae/2_5/english/administration/guide/backup.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Essentially cuae-backup will backup the &amp;#039;mce&amp;#039; database, any other additional databases in MySQL will need to be specified manually (read the section in the admin guide for directions).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So what other databases are there is probably your next question...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you&amp;#039;d like to see what all databases are contained in your MySQL installation do something like:&lt;br /&gt;c:\&amp;gt; mysql -u root -p&lt;br /&gt;Enter Password: *******&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Welcome to the MySQL monitor.     <summary type="html">In a production environment, I would recommend backing up, just in case.     <summary type="html">Whoops...that&amp;#039;s what I get for working at 2:00am. I had a type-o in my&lt;br /&gt;directory number I was using in the barge action. A sting instead of a&lt;br /&gt;number does in fact case the Application server engine to restart.     <summary type="html">Zafar - I was able to resolve this - it appears that the &amp;#034;Include&amp;#034; that was added to the configuration was at the top of the config file. I moved it to the bottom of the conf file and restarted apache and it works now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thank you.</summary>

It may be caused by an invalid string parameter to one of the&lt;br /&gt;actions. Please turn on the Verbose mode logs and provide the full log&lt;br /&gt;file. Also, in the verbose mode logs, you would see which specific&lt;br /&gt;action precedes the error condition. Look closely at the specific action&lt;br /&gt;parameters and/or print the parameters to the log file (using LogWrite&lt;br /&gt;for example) and see if something pops up, for example an uninitialized&lt;br /&gt;strings.
