Hi,

I'm trying to integrate my application with Application Gateway. I was also able to properly register(OpenReq/OpenConf) the application with application gateway. But i'm not able to get the heartbeat request from application gateway.

My application listens on IP/Port and handles the TCP request and is an asynchronous application. Communnication happens using Socket over TCP/IP.

Any help is appericiated.

Heartbeating is a standard mechanism -- but there could be many things that are getting in the way with your implementation.
 
Cisco Advanced Services has a set of pre-built software integration packages which can be used to integrate external applications.
 
Standard interfaces include ODBC, Web/XML, WebSphere MQ, as well as a COM-based API/SDK.
 
These packages are a cost effective option in order to reduce development time and accelerate time to market.
 
It might be beneficial to review the Advanced Services offerings before building your own Application Gateway.
