Welcome to the ANA Tech Center – a resource for system integrators and engineers who want to learn about integrating and customizing ANA.

Cisco® Active Network Abstraction (ANA) is a powerful, next-generation resource and service management solution. ANA supports specialized element management and service management (EMS) for a wide range of Cisco networking solutions.

This ANA Tech Center provides information, guidance, examples and a forum to help you integrate ANA with other applications. Cisco ANA has a rich set of Application Programming Interface (APIs), as shown in the figure below. The highlighted APIs are available in the ANA Tech Center today, and the others will be supported here in the near future.

Use the links below to find more information about the specific APIs that ANA supports:

Cisco ANA™ BQL API - integrates northbound systems using the BQL query and command language
Cisco ANA™ Activation API - integrates southbound managed network elements using the command-responses and workflows
Cisco ANA™ SNMP API (coming soon- integrates ANA with northbound systems for alarms and events using the SNMP protocol
