AXLAPI Usage - Push xml file to an endpoint via TFTP updates

Hi,
We are wondering if there is a way to automate the process of pushing an xml file to a particular endpoint (say cisco jabber) with the help of TFTP mechanism using AXLAPI. We would like to do some automatic updates to certain endpoints with the help of TFTP capabilities.
Please throw some light in this regard.

Can you elaborate on the scenario?  Endpoints download their config files from TFTP based on their MAC address (or user-defined device name, in the case of a soft endpoint like Jabber), but there is no facility for having the endpoint download additional arbitrary files.

Hi David,
Thanks for the response. I hope you are aware that we can add custom tabs to Cisco Jabber (windows version) by simply adding another jabber conig user xml file. However, to automate the creation of these custom tab config files at user end, we would like to leverage the TFTP or any other service which will help pushing these xml files to the user end points (Cisco Jabber) automatically.
Please let me know if there is a way to achieve this one.

Thanks for the clarification.  Unfortunately AXL does not include any requests or features designed for exposing TFTP file management.  I suppose if the need was dire enough, you could implement a custom (i.e. 3rd party) TFTP server for use with UCM, in which case you could arrange direct access to the file system, etc.
If it's just a small convenience situation, you might be able to scrape/automate the UCM admin web pages to emulate the admin's actions when uploading files to TFTP.  Of course this would not be recommended or formally supported.
