Hi,
I am building an application that needs to be highly available,
the Extension Mobility API will still work when the Pub is down and I can even use a 2nd Sub's EMApi if the Sub goes down.
 
But how about the AXL SOAP API, I need to authenticate the user's PIN with doAuthenticate,
will that still work on i.e. Sub1 if the Pub is down (and on Sub2 if Sub1 is down)?
 
I assume this works, but I only have a single server in my dev setup so can't test it at the moment

yeah, but you can enable AXL on any server, so assume it is using the local DB
