Working on the development on the platform, one thing that I think would be pretty useful would be an app store (store may be the wrong term, but it is a buzz word right now ).  Basically, a set of applicaitons which developers can use in a 'plug-n-play' sort of style. 
 
In my application for example, if I could download the Apache, MySQL, and Perl applications and then use those as the base for the application programming, it would make the process much easier.
 
Along the same lines, if it were possible to nest applications together.  Using the above set of examples, I could make an Apache based application and call the installation of the Apache application as part of my installation script.  This would make upgrading the software on the AXP much simpler to deploy and maintain.
