New Platform Support
SM-SRE-700-K9 (1.86 GHz, 4GB, 500MB HDD)
SM-SRE-900-K9 (1.86 GHz dual core, 4GB, 2x500MB HDD w/ RAID support)
 
Multi Gigabit Fabric Support
The internal interface (mgf) for inter-blade (i.e., AXP to AXP) communication within the same router can now be configured on the module. Traffic that goes out on this is switched between modules in the router that are configured for the same layer-2 subnet.
 
RAID Support
RAID support is available on the SM-SRE-900-K9. Raid-1 or linear raid can be selected as options at install time.
 
Cisco IOS Event API
Event API was blocked in AXP 1.5.1 but makes it back into AXP 1.5.2.
