I recently acquired permanent certs for both NME and SRE platforms from you guys. Prior to this I was using a 1 year NME cert. Everything was good on all NME and Vmware platforms using the NME cert. The new cert packages do not work correctly on Vmware (have not tested others). The application packages, and installs fine, however when it comes to booting the guest OS it fails with a:
Virtual Instance ETM start failed : License verification failed.
I understand that on real hardware you must license it/and or accept the EULA, etc. For vmware this is not the case. I added trace to try to acertain the problem (See attached). It seems to have issues validating the cert and exits with code=2.
I have switched back to the 1 year old NME cert which expires in July. It built, installed and booted the guest OS fine - with no changes other than pointg to a different auth_bundle, same private key.
Any ideas?
