Re: New Message from JASON OLSEN in Application eXtension Platform (AXP) -

All,
Without running the SRE-900 on the newer ISR platform with RAID, what options are there to provide additional redundancy upon a HD crash within the AXP?  We are looking at the APPRE-502-K9 as an option for over 100 remote locations but one concern that continues to come up is that upon a HD failure there is no recovery method.

Thanks,
Jason

If you have an external share like a NAS or an internal module like ISS then you can host application files on it in parallel to hosting them on the hard drive. However the logic to replicate the disk would have to be taken care by the application.

Thanks

Anurag

Anurag,

Is the NAS share only supported on Version 1.5.3?  Also since the ISS is another NME module, it would not work if we are already using the NME for the APPRE correct?

Thanks,
Jason

Yes, NAS feature was added in AXP version 1.5.3

Thanks
