Hi,
I heard somewhere that cisco had made the WebView templates available for CUIC...does anybody know how to get them?
We're going from 7.5 to 8.5 and I wanted to provide them to my supervisors.

thanks

Hi Luis,

you could see it on the webview server on the C drive. Search with the folder name custom.. you could see all the queries which are used in webview.

You could do some modification and put it on CUIC

Ram

Thanks but I already know about those. I was trying to find them already modified for CUIC.

attached are some of the ones I modified in case somebody needs them:

Thanks Luis

Hi Luis,

Do you have report definitions for these reports..

Thanks
Ram

they are included in the zip file; the files that start with DEF are the definitions.

also, the webview reports can be imported straight into CUIC without any modifications (weel, so far I haven't ran into any problems).
Just copy the query from the srd file. The query string is between the "retrieve=" and " arguments="
Create the report definition and set the Query Type as "Anonymous Block", choose your data source real time or historical.
Paste the query string and don't change anything.
Click on Create Parameters (3 parameters will be created)
Change the @end_date and the @start_date parameters to DATETIME
Change the other parameter to DECIMAL
Click Create Fields (the fields will be created)
Click on the Parameters Tab
Select the DECIMAL parameter
Click Edit
On the Value List drop down choose the corresponding value list (i.e. if you DECIMAL parameter was @agtteam_list then choose the Agent Teams value list)
Click Update Field
You can now play with the fields' formats and footers.
Create the Report and do your groupings (i.e. for an agent reports you would want two groupings 1 = Team Names, 2 = Agent Names.

these steps have worked for me so far in importing 15 webview reports to CUIC 8.5.2

CUIC doesn't have any Outbound Option reports so you can import the webview reports straight in.

I agree, but the biggest problem is if I use anonymous blocks we don't get the option of choosing relative dates.

I want the reps where I can get the option of selecting relative dates

unfortunately no; you need the Premium license to access the Report Definition designer.
But I believe you can import reports (custom reports) with the standard license. I'm not 100% but I think that when a report gets exported its definition and value lists get also included in the export, so once you imported the required definition and value list will be created.
Any particular report that you're looking for? Would you like me to send you the Webview reports I converted?

Thanks for your reply Luis. I have check but i think i cant import webview report into cuic. I think we need XML file to be imported into cuic. I am specifically looking for all outbound reports in CUIC that are available in WebView. Please help if you have them.

Regards,
Hammad.

Hi Luis,

Furthermore please send me all reports of webview which you have converted for CUIC. Many thanks!!

Regards,
Hammad.

I've included the outbound option Webview reports that we've converted for CUIC and two others that I built plus some other ones; this should get you started.

Many thanks Luis!!

Can anyone confirm something for me...

I know the Reports can be imported on any license but can Report Definitions be imported in CUIC Standard license or does it need to be Premium license?

With standard license, Report Definition tab itself will be not visible. So we can not import report definition.

Thanks for the confirmation emoticon

I get the following error when I try to import these into my Reports

Import could not be completed: Unexpected error. This
has been logged in the server logs. Please contact Cisco support

Am I doing something wrong?

Managed to find teh answer in a previous post

The templates are for 8.0.4 and up. Im running 8.0.1.

The templates call for enabling permalinks which are not supported in 8.0.1.

To import the templates just delete the following xml entry from the templates:

<enablePermalink>true</enablePermalink>

Dear Luis,

As I am refering your idea to generate the agent media logout report in CUIC 8.5, everything was perfect when do the report generate, but when I run the report there is no output, I am refering the Historical database source. Could you please provide some idea how to cross check.

with Regards,
Manivannan
