With the Cisco Motion Technology Partner Program, developers can verify their solution as an assessment prior to development to ensure their solution meets the demand of the marketplace.  Developers can then build applications to meet end user requirements, license Cisco’s mobility technology to benefit from our latest innovations and validate their solution across Cisco’s wireless networking platform.  This holistic approach to business mobility combines applications, devices and the network as the platform.

The business mobility vision is centered on the integration with Cisco Mobility Services. Most of the services are hosted on the Cisco 3300 Series Mobility Services Engine (MSE), an appliance-based, open API platform designed to host a suite of software offerings to enable services such as Context-Aware Mobility and Mobile Intelligent Roaming. The Cisco Mobility Services Engine and its software suite integrate with the broader Cisco Motion architecture based on the Cisco Unified Wireless Network.

  • Context-Aware Mobility API - allows organizations to capture and integrate detailed contextual information into business processes
  • Guest Access API - provides a secure, cost-effective way to offer wired and wireless guest access

Technology partners can test and validate their product as part of an end-to-end solution to ensure device, network and application interoperability, which will enable customers to deploy wireless solutions with ease. 

  • Interoperability testing ensures a high level of client interoperability between the Cisco Unified Wireless Network and the technology partner's product.  It can also be leveraged as an assessment prior to development.
