Cisco is working with selected smart grid end-point vendors to enable their devices with Cisco's open standards based, secure, and scalable networking technology.  Please follow the steps below or send us an email at cdn-connected-grid@cisco.com to get started.

Sign-in with your cisco.com user ID to http://developer.cisco.com
If you don't have a cisco.com id, browse to http://www.cisco.com and click on "Register" in the upper-right corner of the page.

View/download the ‘click-to-accept' agreement: http://developer.cisco.com/web/partner/join
Following a joint review with the Connected Grid CDN program manager of your proposed solution including potential joint customer opportunities, submit a company partnership application: http://developer.cisco.com/web/partner/join-the-program
After you have accepted the program agreement and your registration has been completed, additional technical resources including SDK documentation and guidelines will be made available to you via the CDN portal.
At this point you will be ready to start IP-enabling your smart grid endpoint!
Following your successful development, Cisco or a Cisco-authorized test organization will conduct Interoperability Verfication Testing of your devices with Cisco Connected Grid Routers and Cisco's secure network management head end.
Following successful IVT, you will be certified as "Cisco Compatible"!
