Cisco AppHQ™

Cisco AppHQ is our Android app store that we host on the Cisco Cius device and is where our Android developers and ISVs can sell and distribute paid and free apps.

Cisco AppHQ™ Manager

Cisco AppHQ Manager enables IT Pros working for our Cisco customers to create and manage a secure custom view of AppHQ with an easy to use administration console – in essence a private IT managed store, hosted in the cloud by Cisco.
 
Cisco AppHQ Manager is unique and offers the following key features:

We want your apps

The focus for Cisco AppHQ is business so we are primarily interested in secure enterprise-class apps.
 

We're looking for a combination of Market Apps and Business Transformation Apps.

  • Market Apps: generic apps that are of interest to the business user
    for example; travel booking apps, popular newspapers, airline booking apps, language translation/local custom apps, entertainment and music etc.

  • Business Transformation Apps: apps that are integrated with Cisco Collaboration and Unified Communications capabilities to serve clear business needs to help users connect, communicate and collaborate, to save time, streamline workflows, enable meaningful interactions between the right people to enhance productivity
    for example; fleet management apps, field worker support, financial services niche market apps demanding high processing performance and tight security, health industry apps, remote training and education apps etc.

The Cisco Cius™ offers a one-click link to take users direct to the Google Android Market. The enterprise or user will be able to switch this link on or off.
