MobileTrack is a business transformation app that:
- captures data for calls and texts made and received
- associates data by reference to the phone number, or allows it to be manually annotated for later allocation - phone numbers are typically associated to a billing entity (e.g. client, account, project etc.) at the inception of the relationship
- automatically delivers the combined data to a web-based app, displaying a clear and concise web page that's easy to interpret, review, edit and set to integrate into existing systems
It's a powerful tool that's user friendly, improves productivity, offers immediate access to billing entity data, and seamlessly integrates into existing systems, to provide timely management information to and from the mobile workforce.
Security may be assured too as all data transmissions can be encrypted and if a device is lost or stolen, personal and client information can be removed remotely.
Added value features include:
- broadcast functionality to transmit updates (e.g. of billing entity numbers) to all users
- device location and status transmission which can be limited to respect user privacy
- ad hoc time event and expense record facility allowing the user to associate these to a billing entity, and submit the data for review and integration
- parameter* settings to manage device use to implement management policy and control
*parameters that may be set include time of day use, range of use, types of use, redirection of calls, prohibited numbers, use in motion, device status, and speed detection.
With the ability to integrate with other Cisco Partner server based or hosted solutions (e.g. TEM, Fleet Mgt, Accounting, Time Mgt), MobileTrack provides a "mobile extension" to these systems to provide real-time data management, alerts and reporting.
