On May 25, 2012, it was announced that Cisco will no longer invest in the Cisco Cius tablet form (read more).

Cisco will continue to offer the Cius, in a limited fashion, to customers with specific needs or use cases.  Loaner devices are offered to support development of apps serving customers with such specific needs or use cases.  If you're ready to do the last mile testing of your enterprise Android app on a physical device you can request a loaner device.

You can borrow just a Cisco Cius Tablet, or also borrow a Cisco Cius Media Station. 

We've made it really easy – you'll need to register or log-in first and then complete a simple loaner request form.

We'll telephone you to "pre-authorize" a charge against your credit card for security, but we'll only charge you for devices that are lost, stolen or broken!  You are responsible for returning the device at the end of the loaner period and will need to arrange, and pay for, the return carriage. 

Please note that international return carriage costs can be quite high.  Additionally, Cisco ships loaners to international destinations as "Delivery Duty Unpaid" so any taxes and import duties are the responsibility of the recipient.  There should be no taxes or import duties for returned devices.
