A couple AppHQ issues

When I go to the page to edit the description, features, etc. of my app, it is trashing all the non-ASCII characters.  The characters are good in the AppHQ itself, but it appears you have the encoding set wrong or your rich-text editor is not unicode aware.

The images I uploaded are not appearing the order I specified.  The order values look right in the place I uploaded them, but the scroller is not showing them correctly.

Thanks for the feedback on AppHQ. We will work to correct these issues.

Thanks,
Amanda Whaley

Please update this thread when the problems are fixed, because I'd really like my images to appear in the right order!

Thanks.

I will update when issue is fixed.

Thanks,

FYI: I just checked, and the problem with characters like ¿ and ¿ are present in Firefox/Mac, as well as Safari/Mac.

Heh, apparently the same sloppy programmers wrote your web forum code emoticon

That was a TM symbol and a long dash.

Thanks for the browser info. I will post updates here.

Update: I retyped all the special characters that the UI trashed, and submitted again (I needed do, because I needed to update my .apk).

When I went back to the Manage page, the characters were not trashed this time. But I just checked again, and now they are trashed.

Also, when I look at "Actions > Preview", all the characters are trashed.

But if I look at the app in Marketplace (https://marketplace.cisco.com/admin/products/724) the characters are correct.

Also, in Actions > Preview, it shows the screen shots in the right order (that is, it shows the first two, since Preview doesn't let you scroll them).

In Marketplace, they are still in the wrong order.

I don't think anything is different than when I first reported this, it's just that I hadn't notice these things the first time 'round.

Thanks for the additional details. Can you send a screenshot of the trashed characters and out of order images to developer-support@cisco.com?

Thanks,
