Access to the Android Market is enabled/disabled from the UC Manager admin UI.  It sounds like it is disabled for you.  If you have your own UCM, please check the setting in the device's config page.  If you are using the RAVE lab, please contact them to ensure your device has Android Market (and other developer friendly options) enabled.  If your unit is not yet attached to RAVE, request access here (also get latest firmware updateemoticon

Still no luck after enabling it in Call Manager... Interestingly AppHQ was also disabled - but I could get there.... I'm stuck.

So - A factory reset worked - and then after some time - here we go again, No Market and no App HQ....emoticon

Can you confirm:

- UC Manager setting for the device allows Android Market
- Cius is registered to the same UC Manager (phone app is working)
- A google account has been created on the device

Yes, Yes and Yes... These were all verified last time. Only a Factory Reset got it all working.... and once again everything else works, but Market and AppHQ does not....

Not aware of any similar issues reported.  I assume the device upgraded to the latest version of firmware (9.2.2.49 I believe?)  Are you registering the device to RAVE or a local UCM?  If local, what UCM version?

Firmware is - 9.2.1.T37.8SEC

Local UCM - running 8.5.1.10000-26

The Cius firmware is quite old, can you try installing the latest Cius firmware and upgrading (available on Cisco.com?)

Thanks I'll try that - but Cisco.com? WHERE on Cisco.com....

Under Support/Downloads, you can enter 'cius wifi' in the search box, or try this link:

http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=284010532&catid=278875240&softwareid=284006003&release=9.2%282%29&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

However to access upgrade firmware, you (or someone in your organization) will need to have a Cisco support contract associated with the Cisco.com user ID.  (The CDN Developer Support contract does not provide this entitlement.)

If that's not available, you can use the Cius RAVE lab services (no charge) to register and upgrade the device:

http://developer.cisco.com/web/cius-developer/what-is-rave

If you still want to use the Cius with your local UCM and don't want it to downgrade when you connect, you can specify a fake/invalid firmware load for the device (in the phone config pages of UCM admin.)

Great - just finished the upgrade... and I'm back in the Market and AppHQ.... Thanks for the help.
