I have been trying to connect Cius to window 7 (w/64) using USB 2 per the recommended steps of:

I download the SDK,  and performed Steps 1-8 without problem.  BTW, I had only the option to download "installer_r20-windows" (instead of installer_r9-windows).
 
When i try to install the USB driver per step 9 (by selecting the path to the folder which contans android_winusb.inf file, the system can't see android_winusb.inf file!  Why is it the case?  BTW, i did not chance the file name nor the file type; i.e the file is "android_winusb.inf"
 
BTW, i also noticed that the RNDIS drivers seem to appear/disappear from the device manager listing based on connecting/disconnecting the Cius from the PC.
 
i greatly appreciate your help and feeback - thanks for the help in advance.

Hi Ramiz,

Can you check if the driver is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver and the changes to the Android_WinUSB file are correct.
Let me know if this solves the issue. If not, I can set up a Webex share session with you later to walk through the set up.

Please note the issue i have listed below following Cisco's instruction to install the USB and SDK.
I am having difficulty connecting my Cius to my PC with Window 7 w/64 bit.

Please note that attached file shows the steps i followed to install the USB, but the system can't seem to recogize the file and the driver was not installed!!

I appreciate your help and support. I have a project to develop and app for a client and need your support to help me with the first step; ie to connect the device to the PC!

This instruction installs the SDK under C:\android-sdk-windows

Since i installed per the instruction, there is nothing for android-SDK installed under C:\Program Files (x86)\.

Any suggestions?

Hi Ramiz,

In your list of devices you should have an Android Composite ADB Interface.
I don’t believe you can update the driver for the RNDIS Communications Control.

On the Cius check that the USB debugging is checked. You’ll find it under Settings->Applications->Development
