Blake, Good to know it's working. 8002 might have been changed to not picking up automatically. If you want, you can try requesting a [url=http://developer.cisco.com/web/jabber-developer/testing/shared-sandbox]Jabber Shared UC Lab[/url] account so that you can test it out calling between your browser and Cius. Yes, the phone is now registered. Calling 8001 works for the sample audio call. However, calling 8002 does not show any the sample video call it just plays some background noise. Is that to be expected? Thank you! Blake

Blake, I didn't see a match MAC address in our lab. Just created one for you, please try to connect via VPN and to see if your phone is been registered. Thanks, Howard

I thought that the Basic Lab's Unified Communication Manager would automatically register any new device that connected to it. If that isn't the case how do I register my Cius with it? Thanks!

I'm attempting to test a Cius's phone capabilities using the Basic Cius Lab as per these instructions: [url=http://developer.cisco.com/web/cius-developer/access-the-basic-cius-lab]http://developer.cisco.com/web/cius-developer/access-the-basic-cius-lab[/url] The device succesfully connects to the VPN but the phone app keeps displaying the following messages one after the other: - Registering phone service - Lost connection to server I checked the device's log and see the following: 12/13/2012 03:50:48 VPN Connected (Selected connection: rave1) (Hostname-64.103.37.6) (Client Address-XXX.XX.XXX.XXX) 12/13/2012 03:50:50 TFTP FileNotFound: SEPXXXXXXXXXXX.cnf.xml ((Where the Xs represent the device's Ethernet MAC address)) 12/13/2012 03:50:51 HTTP No Error: XMLDefault.cnf.xml Why is the phone not registering with the Basic Cius Lab's Unified Communications Manager? User locale setting on RAVE ?

I believe locale setting for Cius is set on Unified CM Admin web page. Is there any way to change locale setting by RAVE users ? Currently, is only English(US) supported on RAVE ? There are some developers who want to use RAVE in Japan. Generally, Japanese Cius developers want to implement at least two UI locale modes(Japanese and English). So, it's good for Japanese Cius developers and other developers in non English-speaking countries that they can request to change locale setting. Thanks, Tohru
