<summary type="html">Hello -

This sounds like a really interesting idea. Unfortunately, it sounds like your application would require the Cius to be in USB Host mode (http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/usb/host.html). USB Host mode is only supported in Android 3.1 and higher, and the Cius is currently on Android 2.2.

Please check back on this site for information about future Cius upgrades.

Thanks -

We would like to develop an android application that would run on Cisco
Cius, to connect and send commands to the console port of a Router 1751V.
The application will have to send commands to the router and display the
responses, just like the HyperTerminal.

Today we Access the Console port of the Router 1751V using a notebook and
HyperTerminal to send commands.
We have two cables:

1. Console - Serial (female)

2. Serial (male) - USB
It works fine with a notebook.

For now, we have only
this model to develop to, but the idea is to support other Router models on
future releases.

our doubts are about how to develop this or if you
already have something developed.

Thanks</summary>
