What is the Cisco Cius?

The Cisco Cius is our innovative mobile collaboration tablet that's fully interoperable with Cisco TelePresence tools, offers HD video streaming, multi-party conferencing, email, messaging, browsing and the ability to produce, edit, and share content stored either locally or in the cloud.

It features a front-mounted 720p HD camera that refreshes at up to 30 frames per second.  It's Wi-Fi enabled, comes with an accelerometer, has a detachable eight hour battery and a five megapixel rear-facing camera.

It delivers the most portable, powerful, reliable, and secure communications, computing, and collaboration experience for a device of it's kind.

The Cisco Cius virtual desktop integration provides employees on-the-go with the ability to access and share content anywhere, anytime using the full range of Cisco collaboration and communication applications, including HD video.

Weighing only 1.15 pounds, the device is an ultra-portable tablet for enterprise employees who can benefit from real-time, video-based collaboration.

On the software side, it's built on the Google Android OS, which makes it an open platform for communication and collaboration.
