Your revenue share - what's in the small print...

OK, so you’ve built a really clever enterprise app and are interested in distributing it through Cisco AppHQ, but now you want to know what's in it for you...

To save you hunting for it, this is what you’ll find in the Cisco Developer Network Marketplace Program Guidelines in the section entitled "Sell" - section 5!

The extract reproduced below is from the Cisco Developer Network Marketplace Program Guidelines found here and these guidelines form a part of the Cisco Developer Network Marketplace Agreement found here.

5.1. Pricing and sales transactions

Your applications will be made available by Cisco at the price you specify, if any. In order to charge a fee, you must set up a valid account with our payment processor during the registration process.

Your share of the fees will be seventy percent (70%) of the fees collected, less any refunds, credit card and other payment processing fees, and other charges including, without limitation, withholding taxes, etc. (collectively “Fee Offsets”).

Cisco, any third party operator, and the payment processor will retain the balance of the fees collected (the "Transaction Fees"), as consideration for the agency and other services provided to you.

This payment structure is subject to change at the sole discretion of Cisco.

5.2. How and when you are paid

Within ten (10) business days following the end of each calendar month in which Cisco owes you cumulative fees in excess of $100, Cisco will provide you with the then current developer share of the fees collected as provided above, less any Fee Offsets. Cisco will also provide you with a written report that sets forth the number of distributions of each of your offerings and the calculation of the fees being paid to you. You will be paid using the account you specify during the registration process.

5.3. Sales taxes

If the license, sale or delivery of any of your offerings to any end user is subject to any sales, use or other similar tax, responsibility for the collection and remittance of that tax will be determined in accordance with Appendix 1 to these guidelines.
