I get the following error when i try to connect from the ctitest to the ctiserversim given as part of the CTIOS Toolkit

I have congifure the ctitest as per the documentation and running the ctiserversim on port 2004.

why is the connecting getting forcibly closed?

I also get this error on the ctiserversim console

CTransport::ListenForConnections Listening on socket
CClient(1)::MainThread >>
CClient(1)::MainThread spawn sender and receive threads
Decode length error: element "AgentID",
FieldLength 53, MaxBytes 11
CClient(1)::MsgHandler invalid CTI message from CTIOS
msgType=3
CClient(1)::MainThread Handler thread quit
CClient(1)::MainThread Waiting for handler thread to quit
CClient(1)::MainThread Waiting for send thread to quit
CTransport::RecvBytes socket error(10053)
CTransport::RecvMessage RecvBytes for header failed
CClient(1)::MsgReceiver RecvMessage failed
CTransport:emoticonisconnect Connection closed

I guess i found the answer ctiserversim will not work with 8.0.x Hope am right??

CTIServerSim is provided “as is”

CTIServerSim has never worked with CTI Test.

You may be able to connect CTIOS Server to CTIServersim, Try changing the protocol version CTIOS Server uses to 11 as the CTIServerSim only supports protocol version 11. Also make sure you are connecting from CTIOS Server to CtiServerSim on the port that CTIServerSim expects which is 42027.

The last version of CTIOS Server that I have working with CTIServerSim is 7.5(10). If anyone has successfully used CTIServerSim with CTIOS 8.0 or 8.5 please post that.
