We have a custom .net CIL CTIOS desktop application which is modified 7.2.6 version. I need to upgrade the client to 7.2.7 version. I have downloaded the 7.2.7.exe and trying to run which doesn't seem to work on my custom build as the installation directory is different.How do I  upgrade the custom built CTIOS to 7.2.7 ?
 
Do I need to run it on Out of box build and then copy the .dll files into my custom code location and then rebuild it ?

My understanding is outlined below.Please let me know if this is the right procedure
 
- Install Out of the box base 7.0 build
- Run 7.2.9 on top of it
- Pick the Netcil.dll and Netutil.dll from the installation folder and put in in my custom build CTIOS and recompile
How will I know if there are any code changes ? will there be in no code changes in minor version upgrades ?
