CTIOS 8.5 simulator gives msgtype=3 error message

hello,
 
I just installed CTIOS 8.5(3) and the corresponding simulator (juni 2006)
 
When I start the simulator it gives the following error:

08092011 143457.343  CClient(1)::MainThread Handler thread quit
08092011 143457.343  CClient(1)::MainThread Waiting for handler thread to quit
08092011 143458.296  CTransport::RecvBytes socket error(10054)
08092011 143458.296  CTransport::RecvMessage RecvBytes for header failed
08092011 143458.296  CClient(1)::MsgReceiver RecvMessage failed
 
this is the same error as I read in another thread, but the version of the simulator is higher then feb 2006 (as was the solution in the other ticket)
 
can you help me?

The Ctiserversim does not work with CTIOS 8.5(3). The simulator was provided as is for previous releases.

I have been able to use it for version 7.5(x) .

The only supported alternative is to use a full UCCE system.

Can you clarify which versions of CTIOS don't work with Ctiserversim? I am having similar problems as the OP when trying to use it with 8.0(1) and 8.5(1).
