Auto answer an outgoing call

There was a suggestion made internally to have the soft phone answer an outgoing phone call. Is it possible to do this? I looked at the guide and did not find an parameters that i could set to do this auto answer. All the events fire only after the agent has answered the call. So, i am stuck. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Also, the Answer method is on the Call object. I wont get the current call object until the call becomes active (that is agent answers the phone) So, i wont be able to invoke Answer either.

The party/agent who placed an outbound call cannot also answer it. An agent receiving an inbound call will get a CallDelivered event at which time the agent can answer the call. There is no way to set Auto Answer in CTIOS.
