CTI Server C-API

Overview

The Computer Telephony Integration Server (CTI Server) provides a socket level interface for integrating CTI Applications to ICM and Contact Center Enterprise/Hosted. The C-API is a ANSI C compatible library that provides for communicating to the CTI Server. In order to understand and use the C-API you must be familiar with the CTI Server Protocol (GED-188). The C-API supports up to protocol version 6. The currently published CTI Server Protocol is version 14.

The C-API is no longer available for download. Cisco recommends that you use CTI-OS or the CTI Server Protocol instead. If you require C-API, please contact developer-support@cisco.com and the request will be considered by Developer Services and Cisco Product Management.

Support is not provided for the C-API, it is "as is" for an example of packing and unpacking CTI Protocol messages. The C-API technology center (http://developer.cisco.com/web/ctisc/home) and forums are unavailable after December 31, 2010.
