Where is .mca file ?

Where is .mca file ?

Hi all,
 
When we install any application on CUAE Server. Where can we find the .mca file of the project physically on cuae server. I can locate the application in the path : "C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Unified Application Environment\AppServer\Applications" but not the .mca file.

The .mca file will not be located in the server. The applicaiton .mca file is nothing but an zip or tar, whenever you upload it will extract the contents of it and load it at the location "C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Unified Application Environment\AppServer\Applications"

Thanks for your reply, but in that case. If i want to have backup of my applications. I cant. Is there any other way available..????

Hi Abhishek,
 
You can backup the  folder "C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Unified Application Environment\" and the mysql mce database. This should be able to help you restore the things incase things go wrong. Also the .mca file if you want you create one more directory in the C drive as C:\backupApplications and keep your mca files there and get that folder regurlarly backedup.
