Hi,

I have CUAE 2.5.1 (SDK version).
Media Server runs in the same machine where CUAE is installed. CUAE and Media Server share the same IP address.
When I give 'List Communications', it shows Media Server Status as 'Not Connected' and Enabled as 'true'
What could be the reason for this issue?

Thanks,
Nirmala

Hi Nirmala,

HMP is Dialogic Host Media Processing which is a 3rd party software. While doing SDK install you would have installed it. To check whether it is installed and running or not, you can go to the Windows Services Control panel and check whether Dialogic HMP System services is in "started" state or not. For the media engine to work properly the HMP system services should be in started state.

Thanks,
Abhishek

Hi,

I have the same problem here : Media Server Status as 'Not Connected'.

I have installed CUME and CUAS on two different machines (CUAS on vmware, CUME on physical hardware). In CUAE administration panel I have information that media engine is running properly and it is enabled. Also on the CUME hardware I checked the HMP and it is also running.

Everything ought to be okey but it is not. I still have information Media Server Status as 'Not Connected' in connections->list connections panel.
Could anybody help me to solve my problem?

Regards,

Maciej Nowak
