[Cuae-developers] db password change

Hi,

I need to change the passwords for the MySql server our CUAE 2.4.3 is
using. How do I change the password in CUAE? I don't see any interface
for database settings and the cuae-common.config file looks like it
encrypts the password so I can't set it there.

Thanks

Jason

Sorry for the delay on response to this question...was working on last
minute stuff on the new release.

Are we talking SDK or production setup? Either way, the password in
cuae-common.config actually isn't encrypted. It just a random string of
alphanumeric characters (which lead me to believe that this is a
production setup, since you can set your password in an SDK setup).

For 2.4.3, the password is in the cuae-common.config file as well as
mceadmin\includes\config.php file. For the 2.5 betas, you also want to
check the MgmtServuceKanger\conf\production.properties file.

Just curious, why do you need to change the password in this case?
