You don't need an H.323 gateway or SIP trunk when using JTAPI. Instead,
you just need to configure in /mceadmin a CTI Manager, and a CTI
Monitored Device Pool... and add device(s) of interest to the monitored
device pool.
The API Reference for JTAPI in 2.4.3 is located here:

Subject: [Cuae-developers] concerning jtapi
Is it true that I have to configure and setup a sip gateway instead of a
H.323 gateway to enable jtapi monitoring of an ip phone device?
Then also, how do you integrate jtapi monitoring of a phone into an ip
phone service application? As in any help with creating such a script?
