Etch, old-plugin, and scripts

Hi there,

So far to my understanding, in the old times without Etch, if I wrote a plugin, the only way to get it communicate with a Cisco IP Phone/other plugins within CUAE is through CUAE scripts.

Now we have Etch, I understand that my new version of plugin written with Etch can call other plugins(say, JTAPI, CiscoDeviceListX, Native actions), just need to import the relative libraries into my application. The question is: Can I get event notifications from other plugins without scripts? For example, if I want my piece of code to be executed when a phone is offhook or the user pressed some buttons on his/her phone, how do I do it?

Thanks in advance for any highlight here.

Best Regards,
Ruwei

Hi Ruwei:

This question is more suitable in CUAE forum...

I am going to repost it and answer the question there.
