Multiple JTapi Call Established Events for a Single Call

Hello,

We are using CUAE 2.5(1) and CUCM 6.1, and are having a problem with our Java application which triggers on JTapiCallEstablished.

This morning, our trigger application started receiving five JTapiCallEstablished events for each call.  For each of the 5 events, the JTapiCallId stayed the
same, but the CallId was different.  This happened for any of the phones that we tried, but we have 2 active CUAE's and this only occurred on one of them.

I checked the device pool, and the devices are only registered once.  I restarted the trigger and that did not fix the problem.  When I restarted the Application Server process through the CUAE web interface however, it did fix the problem.

Does anyone have any idea what might have caused this?  We will have to change our application if we need to handle so many events from one phone call.

Thanks a lot,
Tracy.

Hi Tracy,

To investigate a bit more into this issue, we might need the app-server and the JTAPI service 6.1 logs in verbose mode. And at prima facie it appears to me that some logging object got wrongly set which caused this issue.

After restarting the appserver service, is your application still getting 5 JtapiCallEstablished events?

I do not think that you need to change your application.

Regards,
Rakesh.

Hi Rakesh,

Thanks for the reply.  No, after restarting the appserver service, we are no longer getting 5 JtapiCallEstablished events for one call.

Attached are the AppServer and JTapi 6.1 logs.

Thanks again fro your help,
Tracy.

Tracy,

I'm sorry, it looks like you haven't actually attached the logs. Could you respond back with the attached logs so we may proceed further?

Thanks,
Neha

Hi Neha,

Sorry about that.  Here they are.
