Creating Unity Subscriber using API?

I am new to the forum so please bear with me....
 
I am trying to automate the creation of Unity Subsubscribers.
 
Is it possible to do this using an API or through a PERL script?

Hi John - yes, you can create subscribers using CUPI, and since it mainly just involves POSTing some XML you can certainly do that from a Perl script.
