You can get JSON or XML back by specifying the ¿Accepts¿ header (e.g., ¿application/xml¿ to get xml)

I am working with CUPI 7.1.3.0ES10. Some of the examples list the HTTP response coming back as both JSON and XML. Is there a configuration that needs to be turned on for JSON response or is that supported in later versions?

Yes that¿s correct ¿ default is XML
