Ideally what I would like to do is look at the state of a third-party PBX like Avaya. By monitoring the state of the phone, I would like to update someone's status in CUP. Would this be possible using the given APIs?

Currently the component which sets the DND status for a user adopts the very same concept. Regards, Jose

Mark as an Answer Submit Reply with Quote Quick Reply Hi Travis, Setting presence functionality is available only on the 7.x version of SOAP API & not in 8.x & 9.0 (yet to be released). I an other release the 7.x interface will be deprecated. Wouldnt advice you to go the SOAP route for setting presence status. Alternate is XMPP BOSH interface (CAXL). Did you consider this option?
