Kristof Borgers | You can verify it from the admin pages of your presence server. Log in to the admin page. Click on User Management -> End user Select your user. On the top of the page it will normally display "Unavailable (from perspective of user xxxxx)" This doesn't really say anything, besides that the user currently is not logged in with a CuPC client and the user is not on the phone. If you lift that users phone, and press on submit it should display Busy (from perspective of user xxxxxx)
