Problem with lineGetId

Hi all,
When calling lineGetID() for device class "wave/out", it is returning LINEERR_NODEVICE. But i have already installed the Cisco TAPI Wave drivers. So also if i select Cisco TAPI Playback in Cisco Softphone, i cannot hear the ring for incoming calls.
Is this any problem with the wave drivers? Please help.

It sounds like you may be requesting lineGetID on a line that is not a Cisco CTI Port device..?
