Now we have integrated debugging, it's now worth looking at having a facility for integrated speech testing locally. Rather than typing items whilst testing your call flow, it would be good to speak the information to test the speech. So either local integration via Nuance API is required or via MRCP (bit clunkier) with a basic local nuance service. Another vendor has already done this making it a very good environment for testing speech in call flows prior to actual deployment with gateway/ivr.
