Hi,

I see in the upgrade ref manual for CVP 4, that it shows CVP 3.1 being compatible only with Tomcat 4. Is there any way to use it with Tomcat 5?
Student wants to know.

Hi Janine,

It may work with Tomcat 5.0.x. Please use it at your own risk.

Hi Janine,

Please refer to the Bill of Materials (BOM) for CVP 3.1 from this Cisco.com page. As noted there, the supported application servers for that version of CVP VXML Server are:

Tomcat 4.1.24
WebSphere 5.1.1.3

As Hong noted, Tomcat 5.0.x is not a supported application server for that release. TAC may require that the customer use a supported application server when requesting support, and so we highly recommend customers use one of the two versions listed above.
