<summary type="html">Right, so in that case you can play any error prompts you want in any language you want with the software today.

These particular error prompts are internal/catastrophic error prompts. They should never play in production for the most part.

Is it that you are looking to use these in other parts of your real application? Or is it required that, in case of catastrophic failure, they play in another language?

If the latter, then does it have to be for a specific language or can it be a universal multi-language playback.

If you could give a use case, that'd be useful to ensure that we capture the requirement. It's honestly not as simple as saying "play in any language" based on how these particular prompts are used and what they are intended for.

<summary type="html">Just to clarify what you're asking here, I wanted to bring up that the error / suspended / initial on hold / main on hold prompts are not prompts that the caller would ever hear unless there was a catastrophic situation (except for suspended) or you had exceeded licensing parameters.

So, providing this in multiple languages seems slightly odd. It shouldn't affect your application development.

Can you maybe give a situation where you'd want those prompts to actually play to a caller? They are meant to be 'last resort' messages.

Thanks,

We've created a feature request for future enhancement to the multi-lang support. The feature will provide with multi-lang support for Generic Error, Suspended Audio and On-Hold Audios.

<summary type="html">We are trying to develop a Self Service application for a customer, who is interested to play back the error / suspended / intitial on hold / main on hold based on the regional language of the country. But currently I believe this is a limitation in Audium and CVP itself when there are multiple languages involved as a regional language. It plays only one language.

/CVP/audio/error.wav
/CVP/audio/suspend_audio.wav
/CVP/audio/onhold_initial.wav
/CVP/audio/onhold_continue.wav

It would be good to have this feature.

Thanks!
