Hi Asher, Cisco isn't quite clear on how to flush the dtmf buffer. The most they say on it, is in the IOS VXML Programming manual. You can look here (and then look thru that entire ref manual): http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/voice/vxml/developer/guide/refgde1.html#wp1049201 As far as I can tell, there's no property that flushes the buffer. I use a Digits element with BargeIn DISABLED and speak silence_.1_sec.wav and set NoInput timeout to 10ms, MaxNoinputs to 1, MaxNomatches to 1, MinDigits to 1, MaxDigits to 1. Then connect all the 3 exit states to the next element in your callflow. Clear DTMF digits buffer / type ahead

I remember talking about this in class briefly, but I can't see to find it in my notes, or searching these forums. Is there a way to empty out the DTMF buffer in CVP, other than using a form/menu with a 0s no input timeout, a 1 max no input/invalid input, and a empty or 1 sec audio file? I think I remember there being a vxml parameter that you can use to tell an audio element to ignore or flush the dtmf buffer, but I'm not sure.
