9. You need a static route in your Proxy for 9999999999* to find the VG (or if you have no Proxy, 9999999999> in the Static Route section)

Both of these can coexist – and must coexist.

The Call Server looks at the SIP header when the original INVITE arrives. If it did not come from the IOS SIP User Agent it will not use Send To Originator.

Works like a bought one.

Building a CVP system without a SIP Proxy is suitable for a small deployment, but in your case, with multiple gateways, it creates problems. Why did you not specify a SIP Proxy (CUSP)? Price sensitive?

How many sites? How many gateways at each site?

Do you really care which gateway is used for the VXML leg for UCM originated calls? If not, pick one and you are good to go.

If you do care, you could use LBCAC, rather than SigDigits.

Define the location for the phones at each of your gateway sites in CUCM and fold the VXML leg back to the site using a Site Code inserted between VRU label and correlation ID. Much easier than SigDigits. SigDigits is good if you don’t use SendToOriginator for normal ingress calls, but you do. So for your UCM generated calls, LBCAC will help.

5 branch sites and 1 gateway at each site.

In CUCM, define locations for each site. Put the phone in the location (may already have this).

Sync the Ops Console to the CUCM to pull over location information

Define a site code for each branch (let’s say 100=s1, 200=s2, 300=s3, 400=s4, 500=s5)

Deploy table to each Call Server

Set up static routes:

9999999999100> goes to IP address of Gwy at s1
9999999999200> goes to IP address of Gwy at s2 etc.

Also

91919191100 goes to IP address of Gwy at s1
91919191200 goes to IP address of Gwy at s2 etc.

And

92929292100 goes to IP address of Gwy at s1
92929292200 goes to IP address of Gwy at s2 etc.

Make sure dialpeer on gwys for ringback and error has scope for site code. In other words, if you have destination-pattern 91919191 you would want to change it to destination-pattern 919191T
