Can we have any thoughts on this. Record field utterance is a VXML 2.x option and should be part of the base functionality of speech based components.

There are good reasons for serious speech applications why this should be exposed.

    <summary type="html">VoiceXML 2.1 supports field recording, and in some cases this is pretty damn useful. Recognition and Record at same time. Useful for tuning exercises and integration into other environments.

It might be time to give the form item an update, and expose the recording data if this property is set.

And please note using the record object is not a suitable substitute for using reco and record in given situations of integration.

Can this be added as an update if it's not already in the list.

BTW where exactly is this list of items that can be tracked? I have a cisco account but no idea where this list is?</summary>
