Call Studio will display a type-specific icon for your custom components, indicating whether they are Voice, Action, or Decision elements. Notice that Call Studio even applies this same icon-choice algorithm to its own Voice and Action elements (e.g., Menu and Database elements).

The only elements which have a special icon are the Call Studio built-in or "core" type, such as Web Service, and Flag. These icons differentiate core Call Studio functionality from extensible functionality.

As a developer, you cannot create new core types, and so you cannot specify a custom icon.
