In the cvp 4.1 Element Specs it says for the new 'Subdialog Start' element description: However, there is one exception to this. If the voice application will only ever be called by a Subdialog Invoke element (i.e., never by ICM), then the Subdialog Start and Subdialog End elements may be used instead.

Ok, I'm confused. First of all, there is no Subdialog End, so I assume it's a typo and means to say 'Subdialog Return' element, right?

But more importantly, does this mean that Studio apps can now be invoked as subdialogs from another Studio app? App1 does a Subdialog Invoke to App2 and then App2 starts and ends with Subdialog Start/End?

If this is true, it's very good news.

The Subdialog Invoke element can be used to invoke voice applications created in Call Studio or even other flat VoiceXMLs or JSPs. It can be configured to pass in some variables as input, and one or more return values may be retrieved as output.

So, if you have an application created in Studio, you could use a Subdialog Invoke element to invoke another application created in Studio. The invoked application, however, must start with a Subdialog Start element and end with a Subdialog Return element. In addition, the invoked application must be configured to accept subdialog invocation through its General Settings.
