Access to the UCCX Historical Report data without using Crystal Reports

We are trying to pull in the Historical Summary data available to the Cisco reporting dashboard for import into our reporting portal. We're not trying to do a database export or do a new custom report in the Cisco UI via Crystal Reports, what we'd like to do is query the report summary data as listed in the "Cisco Unified Contact Center Express Historical Reporting Administrator and Developer Guide" every 15mins or so and present that in our product's dashboard.
 
We've looked thru the forums here, and the Cisco Unified Contact Center Express Historical Reporting Administrator and Developer Guide, and found guidance on exporting the database itself and for extending the reports inside Cisco, but nothing about getting the report data from outside.
We are writing our polling process in c#.
 
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. At this point we don't even know the best starting point to do this.
