Change a part of the presentation

I would like to program an application that could change a part of a presentation like an asset of a playlist for example.
Is it possible to do this with the API?

You should be able to achieve this using the API. You will need know what assets are in the original playlist, and then you can modify them as you please and create a new playlist that contains your changes.

Thanks for your answer.
I have another question: I would like to request to the DMP (or DMM) what is the presentation (the ID of the application for example) that is displaying at this moment on the DMP(with Play in future or also Play Now). Is it possible with the DMS API? and How?
