1. We have currently a number projects requiring interactivity with the DMP.
2. So far, our successful experience is using Elo touchscreens with the DMP.
3. However a number of projects are interested in using touch overlay based technologies with the DMP.
4. I¿ve tried looking for the list of compatible touchscreens on Cisco¿s website however the link returns an invalid page. (http://www.cisco.com/go/dms/compatibility)
5. I will require your assistance to answer the following:
a. Are the DMP¿s only compatible with APR (Acoustic Pulse Recognition) based screens? Or can they also use IR/capacitive based touch overlays as long as the interface is USB?
b. If using APR screens, is it possible to mount the screen behind a window/glass panel and will the touch feature still function or still be accurate? (assuming the screen surface has no air gap with the glass panel).
