DMS API Forum Posting Guidelines:

Welcome to the DMS API forum. Before getting started, please take a few minutes to acquaint yourself with a few general guidelines. This document is meant to give users a general understanding of the etiquette that is expected of them, and of how the forum is meant to be used.

General Posting Guidelines:

By viewing these forums, you acknowledge that all posts express the views and opinions of the author, and not any group or organization. No group or organization is to be held liable for the post of any individual on this forum.

By participating in discussions you implicitly agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated material or any other material that may violate any laws where you live. Doing any of these may lead to you being temporarily or permanently banned from these forums. You may also face additional legal recourse. Posts violating any part of this guideline may be edited or deleted by the forum moderators.

Be courteous and respectful. The forum is a free service open to the public, and many of the users posting their advice receive nothing in return. Being polite will go a long way in having your question answered.

To keep things running smoothly, administrators may move or edit content. If you have an issue with an administrative decision, please bring it to our attention and we will do our best to address it.

If a post or thread contains spam (unsolicited advertising) it will be removed, and the poster may be banned.

Technical Support Guidelines:

Do a little homework before posting. Many basic questions can be answered by going through documentation, and it is probably the quickest way to get started.

Keep in mind that a forum is easier to browse when there are fewer redundant threads. Take a bit of time to search the forum. Finding the answer is usually quicker than waiting for a response.

When posting a question, please provide details where applicable. The more specific your question is, the more appropriately it can be answered.

If you don't know the answer or don't wish to help, please say nothing instead of brushing off someone's question. Politely showing someone how you obtained the answer to a question is acceptable, rudely linking the home page of a search engine is not.

Please try to minimize the use of acronyms and jargon when giving instructions.

Remember that these forums are public, and inclusive of all people. Please strive to maintain accessibility to everyone.
